Xiaomi 13 details confirmed: Thin Bezels and IP68 Water Resistance
Chinese tech giant Xiaomi will announce their brand new devices very soon, but before the launch we have some more details.
Xiaomi 13 series and MIUI 14 will be unveiled at the event on December 1st, the company announced. Lei Jun, the company's chief executive officer, provided some details about the highly anticipated phones following the announcement. Lei Jun, CEO of Xiaomi, revealed some details about the forthcoming phone on Weibo. The Xiaomi 13 will be one of the most comfortable phones to hold.
The phone's official poster states that the bezel measures 1.61 millimeters on all three sides. The only 1.81mm bezel on the chin is there. The screen-to-body ratio is 93.3 percent overall. The Xiaomi 13 has a width of 71.5 mm. We are greeted at the front by the hole punch camera as well. The phone's resistance to water is yet another definite feature. The IP68 certification will be present on each phone in the Xiaomi 13 series. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform will power the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. It is not clear whether the most recent MIUI 14 will come preinstalled on the Xiaomi 13 series. If not, it will be quite possibly the earliest telephone to get the MIUI 14 redesign.
