The Galaxy S23 series, Samsung's current most powerful flagship series, brings the most comprehensive update package in recent times for European users.
Samsung's premier smartphone, the Galaxy S23 series, is set to receive a significant upgrade to its camera system, now rolling out in various global markets. Europe is the latest region to receive this firmware update, initially launched in select countries including Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines. The firmware, identified as version S91xBXXU2AWF1, is now reaching Galaxy S23 users across Europe.
This substantial update, approximately 2.2GB in size, is primarily aimed at upgrading the camera functionality and enriching the overall user experience. Noteworthy advancements include the introduction of a 2X zoom for portrait mode, resolution of autofocus issues, improved Night mode processing, fluid transition animations within the One UI, and slight refinements to haptic feedback.
The update also tackles HDR problems that have been reported under certain lighting conditions while utilizing the Camera app on the Galaxy S23 series. Interestingly, it seems to rectify the so-called "banana blur" issue as well, which resulted in blurry areas around the camera's focus point.
