While the Vivo Y27 5G model is featured on Vivo’s global website, its price and availability have yet to be confirmed by the company. In contrast, the 4G version of the Vivo Y27 has officially been launched in Malaysia. Let's dive into this device's specifications, features, and pricing.
The Vivo Y27 4G model boasts a 6.64-inch IPS LCD panel with a teardrop notch, offering a Full HD+ resolution of 2388 x 1080 pixels and a brightness of 600 nits. It houses an 8-megapixel front camera. On the back, the device features a camera setup with a 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel auxiliary camera, and an LED flash.

Under the hood, the Y27 4G is equipped with the Helio G85 chipset, complemented by 6 GB of RAM. Interestingly, the device supports up to 6 GB of virtual RAM and provides 128 GB of internal storage. Additionally, it includes a dedicated microSD card slot for users who need more storage space. Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery with 44W rapid charging. According to Vivo, this battery can recharge from 0 to 29 percent in just 15 minutes.
As for the software, the Y27 4G comes with the FunTouch OS 13, which is based on Android 13. Among other features, it offers dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. For added security, the device includes a side-facing fingerprint scanner and boasts an IP54-rated chassis.
On the pricing front, the Vivo Y27 4G model is available in Malaysia for MYR 699, which is around $153. The device is offered in two colors: Burgundy Black and Sea Blue. Furthermore, the Y27 4G model is expected to be launched in India imminently.
