Vivo X90 series of smartphones were unveiled at a launch event that Vivo held on November 22 in China. One device of the series stand out as having an exclusive feature. Vivo X90 Pro+ is the first phone to have Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 smartphone ever.  The flagship phone is available in two configurations, including 12 GB RAM and 512 GB of storage space alongside 256 GB of RAM. The prices of these two variations are respectively 6,499 Yuan ($931) and 6,999 Yuan ($1,003). It is available in two hues: Original Black and China Red.

A 6.78-inch AMOLED LTPO 4.0 display with a Quad HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a brightness of up to 1,800 nits makes the Vivo X90 Pro+ a dust- and water-resistant phone with an IP68 rating. An under-display fingerprint scanner and curved edges characterize the punch-hole display. The device with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor has up to 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage and up to 12 GB of LPDDR5x RAM. It has a 4,700mAh battery that can be charged quickly at 80W. Wireless charging of 50W is also supported.

The front camera on the Vivo X90 Pro+ has 32 megapixels. The phone has an OIS-capable, 1-inch, 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 primary camera on the rear camera setup. A 48-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom and OIS support, and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with OIS and 3.5x optical zoom are all included in the package. Other features of the X90 Pro+ include support for two SIM cards, Bluetooth 5.3, dual stereo speakers, 5G, dual-frequency GPS, NFC, and a USB-C port.
