Vivo V29 to be powered by a powerful Snapdragon chipset

The Vivo V29 series is expected to debut soon in multiple markets. The vanilla was spotted with model number V2250 in the Google Supported Devices list recently. Now, a listing of the phone has appeared in the Google Play Console. As usual, it has revealed the key specifications, including the processor of the device. In addition, the listing has an image that reveals its front and rear designs.

According to the recent Google Play Console listing, the Vivo V29 is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm chipset featuring four Kyro 670 CPU cores clocked at 2.4GHz and four Kyro 670 CPU cores running at 1.8GHz, coupled with an Adreno 642L GPU, indicating the possibility of the Snapdragon 778G chip. The phone is listed with 8 GB of RAM and will run on Android 13 with FunTouch OS 13 as its overlay.

The image showcased in the listing highlights the V29's curved-edge AMOLED display and a triple camera setup with a ring LED flash, alongside an under-display fingerprint scanner. The previously revealed FCC listing hinted at a 4,505mAh battery with 80W charging support, and the phone is expected to offer 5G and NFC capabilities, among other connectivity features. Speculations suggest that the V29 could sport a 50-megapixel front camera and an OIS-enabled 64-megapixel triple camera configuration on the back. The display is rumored to be a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel, providing FHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
