Vivo V29 series expands its availability in more regions

After the recent introduction of the Vivo V29e smartphone, Vivo is gearing up for another major release. Reports suggest the brand is set to unveil not just the Vivo V29 5G, but also its Pro version in India within this month. These upcoming devices are said to embrace a unique 'Majestic Red' color, inspired by the Indian palette. Moreover, the smartphones will boast features tailored for the Indian market, though specifics remain undisclosed. It's speculated that the Indian variants might carry slight differences in specifications compared to their global counterparts.

The Vivo V29 5G promises an immersive experience with its expansive 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen that delivers a fluid 120Hz refresh rate. This display can reproduce a spectrum of over 1.07 billion colors, embracing the DCI-P3 color gamut. At its core, the phone utilizes the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, paired with a hefty 12GB RAM and a spacious 256GB internal storage. Ensuring long-lasting performance is its 4,600mAh battery, enhanced with an 80W rapid charging capability. To prevent overheating, the device integrates a VC Bionic Cooling System. Notably, it runs on FunTouch OS 13, grounded on Android 13.

As for the optics, the Vivo V29 5G is equipped with a versatile camera system. The rear ensemble includes a 50-megapixel primary camera featuring OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. This setup is complemented by a ring LED flash. For those who prioritize selfies or rely on video calls, a 50-megapixel front-facing camera with autofocus is embedded.

Meanwhile, the Vivo V29 Pro is perceived as a counterpart to the Vivo S17 Pro, exclusive to China. Anticipations are set on it debuting with a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Preliminary information from a Geekbench listing aligns with this prediction. Power expectations are parallel with its sibling, featuring a 4,600mAh battery supporting 80W fast charging. The display is speculated to be a 6.78-inch centered punch-hole curved AMOLED screen, exhibiting a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels and the smoothness of a 120Hz refresh rate. The camera dynamics for the Pro version anticipate a trio: a 50MP primary sensor (Sony IMX766V) with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens (Sony IMX355), and a 12MP telephoto camera (Sony IMX663). Complementing this array, a 50MP front camera is expected, catering to selfie lovers and vloggers.
