Vivo is on the brink of unveiling its X100 series, a new addition to its lineup of flagship smartphones, with a launch event scheduled in China for November 13. The buildup to the release has seen a series of teasers on Weibo, culminating in the latest glimpse of the X100 series and a reveal of stunning camera capabilities.
The freshest teaser introduces the X100 Pro, arrayed in a vibrant Sunset Orange Peel shade. This model boasts a luxurious leather back paired with a frame that glints with a golden hue, suggesting a blend of elegance and innovation. It joins the Starry Blue variant, which was previously showcased, featuring a sleek glass back, and thus offers potential buyers a choice between two distinct styles.
Further heightening the anticipation, Vivo has released a collection of camera samples that exhibit the impressive photography prowess of the X100 and X100 Pro. Both models are expected to feature a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B telephoto camera and a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens. The primary camera is reported to be a Sony IMX920 for the X100, while the X100 Pro is anticipated to house the more advanced Sony IMX989.
In terms of performance, both smartphones are poised to be powered by the Dimensity 9300 chipset paired with LPDDR5T RAM. Options for up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage are expected to be on offer, ensuring that the phones cater to both average users and power users alike.
