Upcoming Redmi budget smartphone spotted online, launch imminent

Their smartphones have a large customer base in many nations due to their impressive features, high build quality, and reasonable prices. In the budget smartphone market, Redmi has established itself as a well-known brand, and consumers and technology professionals alike frequently give their products high marks and favorable evaluations.

In this respect, Redmi A2, the successor to the budget-friendly Redmi A1 smartphone, is set to launch in the global market soon. A recent report has revealed its design, specifications, and pricing for the European market. This upcoming entry-level smartphone is generating buzz among consumers and tech enthusiasts alike.

The Redmi A2 smartphone, with model number 23028RN4DG, has been certified by NBTC. It seems that the smartphone launch very soon. The NBTC listing does not provide further details but based on our previous reports, we can delve into the rumored specifications of Redmi A2.

Redmi A2 is expected to have a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. It is worth noting that the lack of a rear fingerprint scanner may indicate that it will only be available on the A2+ variant. The phone is anticipated to feature an 8-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor on the back, while a 5-megapixel front camera will take care of selfies and video calls.

Moreover, the Redmi A2 is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G36 SoC, which includes an octa-core CPU built on a 12nm process. The smartphone will likely come with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Additionally, it is expected to be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging.
