Upcoming Oppo flagship smartphone visits Geekbench with impressive specs
The upcoming OPPO Find X6 Pro has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform.
Oppo is a popular brand of smartphones and other electronic devices. It is one of the largest smartphone manufacturers in the world and has a significant market share in many countries, including China, India, and Indonesia.
According to recent reports, Oppo is preparing to launch the Find X6 series, including the standard and pro variants, in China later this month. A few days ago, live images of the Find X6 Pro were leaked, and its specifications have already been revealed previously. The phone has now been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform ahead of its launch.
Oppo Find X6 Pro popped up on Geekbench, key details emerged
Geekbench has listed the OPPO Find X6 Pro with model number PGEM10 and motherboard codename 'kalama,' which corresponds (via PhoneDB) to the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. The phone features eight cores, with three running at 2.02GHz, four at 2.80GHz, and one primary core at 3.19GHz.
The listing also reveals 16GB RAM, with more options expected at launch. The smartphone is set to come with Android 13 OS out of the box and scored 1,468 and 4,903 points in Geekbench's single-core and multi-core tests.
Recent leaks suggest that the phone will have a 6.8-inch E6 AMOLED display with a 2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 10-bit colors, capable of offering 2,500 nits peak brightness with the brand's self-developed technology.
Oppo is also expected to release a Dimensity Edition of the Find X6 Pro, which may be backed by a 4,880mAh battery unit and powered by a Dimensity 9200 SoC, coupled with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
