Tri-fold foldable device is coming: New era for foldables

Samsung has been a leader in foldable market and it looks like the company will step up their game. As reports suggest we are heading to a future where we will have tri-fold foldables. A triple-folding Samsung smartphone has been rumored since 2020 yet it is becoming real now. We will just need to wait for it a bit.

Samsung to have tri-fold smartphone

For some time, reports have suggested that Samsung will release a third foldable device, which is expected to be called the Galaxy Z Tab. This device was supposed to have the brand's largest foldable display, which could be divided into three parts. However, experts have begun to question the existence of any concrete leak that has yet to occur and now we have more reports.

In a tweet, well-known leaker Max Jambor points out that while details about the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 continue to surface, the tri-fold has not yet seen any concrete development.  Since 2020, when the company demonstrated the technology and filed a patent for it, there has been a rumor that the company is working on a smartphone with a tri-fold design.
