The company is reportedly working on their next innovation, potentially named either Nubia Z60 or as part of the Red Magic 9 series. Rumors fueled by notable tipster Digital Chat Station point towards the smartphone housing the forthcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and a more advanced under-screen front camera. Given that the Nubia Z50 was unveiled in December 2022, the anticipated release window for the Z60 might align.

A recent spotting on the Geekbench benchmarking platform showcased a Nubia phone, bearing the model number NX769J, boasting the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The device showcased noteworthy performance metrics with a single-core score of 1596 points and a multi-core score of 5977 points. Speculations suggest this could be the Red Magic 9 gaming smartphone.
In another development, two Nubia phones with the model numbers NX721J and NX769J received Wi-Fi Alliance certification, indicating their compatibility with Android 13 and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi networks. The NX721J is speculated to be the eagerly awaited Nubia Z60 flagship. Previously, there were hints from the same tipster about Nubia working on a smartphone, armed with a 35mm camera and a 1-inch sensor.
Wrapping up the rumors, Nubia seems to be entering the foldable market with the Nubia Z60 Fold, set for a launch in Q4 2023. The device is said to present a 7.3-inch AMOLED foldable display, be powered by a Snapdragon 8 series chipset, 12GB RAM, storage choices of 256GB and 512GB, backed by a 5,000mAh battery, and 100W wired charging capabilities, potentially coupled with wireless charging.
