The new model developed by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer ZTE is attracting attention with its 50MP selfie camera.
ZTE, a major player in the tech world, has unveiled their latest addition to the budget smartphone market, the ZTE XiaoXian 50. This new device, launched at a recent product event, carries a number of interesting features and specifications.
Sporting a 6.52-inch 1600×720 LCD waterdrop display, the ZTE XiaoXian 50 offers a 90Hz refresh rate, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and an 83% NTSC color gamut. At its heart lies the Purple Light Exhibition Sharp T760 5G mobile platform, created through a 6nm EUV process. It comprises 4× 2.2GHz Cortex-A76 + 4× Cortex-A55 cores, along with a Mail G57 GPU. The device's performance is quite impressive, reaching around 400,000 on the AnTuTu benchmark, comparable to the Kirin 810. It is offered in two storage variants: 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB. The XiaoXian 50 operates on Android 13, overlaid with MyOS 13.
The phone doesn't disappoint when it comes to camera specifications either. It features a 50-megapixel front-facing camera for sharp selfies, and a 13-megapixel rear camera. A 4000mAh battery powers the device and supports 5W charging.
Keeping up with the demands of modern connectivity, the XiaoXian 50 supports both SA/NSA dual-mode 5G, ensuring fast and reliable connections. The device also accommodates dual SIM, dual standby, and dual-band Wi-Fi. Additionally, it features a 3.5mm headphone jack and the ZTE Lingxi performance engine, ensuring system stability for up to 48 months. The device also supports up to 8GB of virtual RAM.

With its senior-friendly functions, the phone has ten custom features that cater to the needs of the elderly population. These include large icons, large fonts, high volume, and others like WeChat Mini Program remote guardianship, application security, anti-fraud, and anti-harassment features.
The ZTE XiaoXian 50 is available in two pleasing color options: Time Grey and Spring Sunlight Green. It is offered in two configurations: 4GB+128GB for 699 yuan ($97) and 6GB+128GB for 799 yuan ($111). The phone's design is marked by an imitation ballistic nylon texture, gold radiating lines, and obsidian CD lines.
