The MIUI Global Beta program was discontinued by the company in 2019 and has since been restricted in China as well. The most recent illustration of this comes from an authority declaration from Xiaomi itself on its local area discussion.
Today, Xiaomi announced that the MIUI beta program for its last-generation tablets, its first foldable, a value flagship, three lifestyle phones, and a few well-liked budget models would be halted.
The devices in question are listed below
Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 5G
Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro
Xiaomi Pad 5
Xiaomi Mix Fold
Xiaomi 12X
Xiaomi Mix 4
Xiaomi Civi
Xiaomi Civi 1S
Redmi Note 11 Pro
Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus
This is unfortunate news for users of the Xiaomi Pad 5 series, as tablets are more commonly used than smartphones. Xiaomi has a long history of providing poor tablet software support. We anticipated that it would alter with the introduction of tablets, but that does not appear to be the case.
