The Vivo Y27 now has a confirmed launch date
Recently distinguished as one of the most prolific names, Vivo is planning to unveil the Y27 model soon.
Vivo has recently showcased its new Vivo V27 5G smartphone on its global platform. The device is driven by a Dimensity 6020 SoC, a revamped version of the Dimensity 700. The company has now verified that the Vivo V27 will be unveiled in India soon.
The India launch of the Vivo Y27 is set for July 20, as revealed in a recent Instagram story spotted by TheTechOutlook. It is currently unclear which variant, either the 4G or 5G, is intended for the Indian market. For the time being, let's consider the 5G model's specifications.
The Vivo Y27 5G flaunts a 6.44-inch LCD display with a waterdrop notch, presenting an FHD+ resolution and a peak brightness of 600 nits. It incorporates a fingerprint sensor in the power button.

Under the hood, the Vivo Y27 5G employs a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor. It is available with two RAM options: 4GB and 6GB, with an added advantage of up to 6GB of virtual RAM. Both models come with 128GB of built-in storage to accommodate all your content. Powering the smartphone is a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging.
When it comes to photography, the Vivo Y27 5G features a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary bokeh lens. At the front, it houses an 8MP selfie camera, ensuring quality selfies.
As for connectivity, the Vivo Y27 5G is 5G-enabled, promising fast data transfer speeds. It also includes a USB-C port, a 3.5mm jack, WiFi, Bluetooth, and NFC. Finally, the smartphone operates on Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13.
