The Vivo V29 5G spotted during the certification process
The V29 5G, developed by Chinese tech company Vivo and talked about through leaks for a while, revealed itself in a new certification phase.
The much-anticipated Vivo V29, poised for a release in numerous markets, has made a recent appearance in the Bluetooth SIG authority's database. With its model number now in the public domain and a recent certification, we can anticipate a potential launch towards the end of this month or early July.
Having secured its Bluetooth certification, the Vivo V29 5G carries the model number V2250. More light was shed on its key specifications when it made an appearance on the Geekbench benchmarking site.
Interestingly, this upcoming device is set to be powered by the Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset. It is also expected to house 8 GB of RAM and run on the Android 13 operating system. However, further details about the device remain undisclosed for now.

The soon-to-launch Vivo V29 Pro 5G, carrying the model number V2251, has been hinted to feature a 6.7-inch OLED panel with curved edges, offering an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. While there's a chance that it could be powered by the Dimensity 8200, it's likely to arrive with 12 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. Photography enthusiasts can look forward to a 50-megapixel front-facing camera and a 64-megapixel rear camera with OIS support. The device will run on FunTouch OS 13, based on Android 13.
The Vivo V29 series also includes the already available Vivo V29 Lite 5G in the Czech Republic. Key features of this variant include a 6.78-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display with curved edges, a Snapdragon 695 chip, 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 44W charging. It also boasts a 16-megapixel front camera and a triple camera unit on the back with a 64-megapixel main sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. Additional features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, Android 13, and an IP54-rated chassis.
