The veil of mystery was lifted on the Vivo Y36
The veil of mystery surrounding the Vivo Y36 model, which has been mentioned through leaks for a while, has been lifted.
Vivo has unveiled a new addition to its Y-series lineup in India - the Vivo Y36 4G, following its initial release in Indonesia a month prior. The Indian iteration presents subtle deviations from its Indonesian counterpart. This novel device takes over the reins from the Vivo Y35. Let's delve into the features this latest entrant brings to the table.
Flaunting a 6.44-inch LCD screen adorned with a waterdrop notch, the Vivo Y36 4G boasts an FHD+ display resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device can shine up to 650 nits at peak brightness. The aesthetic appeal of the smartphone is further enhanced with a square-shaped camera module on the back, with the power button ingeniously doubling as a fingerprint scanner.
In terms of optics, the Vivo Y36 4G is armed with a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP macro lens. A 16MP front camera provides for high-quality selfies and video calls.
Underneath its sleek exterior, the Vivo Y36 4G houses a Snapdragon 680 processor, bolstered by 8GB of RAM and an additional 8GB of virtual RAM technology. An expansive 128GB of storage space, which can be further enlarged up to 1TB via a microSD card slot, is available on the device. Powering the smartphone is a robust 5,000mAh battery unit, compatible with 44W fast charging. The device comes pre-loaded with the Android 13 operating system.
The connectivity suite of the Vivo Y36 4G encapsulates Dual 4G VoLTE, a USB-C port, WiFi, Bluetooth, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone, priced at Rs 16,999, is available in two appealing shades: Vibrant Gold and Meteor Black. It can be acquired from Vivo's official website, Flipkart, and brick-and-mortar stores throughout India.
