The release date for iQOO 12 and 12 Pro is almost confirmed
Two major Chinese tech brands, iQOO and Vivo, will release their new smartphone models back-to-back.
Chinese smartphone giants Vivo and its sub-brand iQOO are on the brink of unveiling their new devices: the Vivo X100 series and the iQOO 12 lineup. Renowned informants from the region have shared some speculative timelines regarding these anticipated launches.
The iQOO 12 series, as suggested by the trusted informant Digital Chat Station, is rumored to make its debut in China in early November. This introduction is strategically planned to coincide with the Double Eleven (November 11th) sales festivities. Meanwhile, the Vivo X100 series is believed to launch just after this sales event.

To add to the speculation, another leak suggests that it might be challenging for the Vivo X100 series to align its release with the Double Eleven sales day. This leaker emphasized that the iQOO 12 series is slated for a primarily online debut, optimally timed for the Double Eleven sales, whereas the Vivo X100 series might see the light of day post this event. Additionally, there's a whisper in the tech corridors that the iQOO 12 might be introduced to the Indian market around the same timeframe.
For the uninitiated, the iQOO 12 lineup boasts two powerhouse devices, the iQOO 12 and 12 Pro, both believed to be driven by the soon-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Qualcomm is likely to take the wraps off this chipset at the much-awaited 2023 Snapdragon Summit. Interestingly, Xiaomi seems poised to be the first off the block, planning to launch a device powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Reports hint that the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro are set to be officialized by October 27.
Switching gears to the Vivo X100 series, it’s rumored to feature two variants: the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro. These devices are expected to harness the power of the soon-to-debut Dimensity 9300 chip. An additional model, the Vivo X100 Pro+, is believed to be integrated with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and could likely make its grand entrance in the early quarters of 2024.
