The Nothing Phone (2) now appears with a transparent USB Type-C
Nothing seems determined to use its signature transparent design in more areas.
Set to hit the market on July 11, the Phone (2) from Nothing is eagerly awaited. The company has been rather generous with sneak peeks into what the new device would offer. The latest teaser comes directly from the company’s CEO, Carl Pei, who revealed a transparent USB Type-C cable, presumably, an exclusive accessory for the upcoming Nothing Phone (2).
On his Twitter account, Carl Pei shared an image of the transparent USB Type-C cable, expressing his delight with the design. This accessory marks the third product from Nothing's portfolio to feature a see-through aesthetic, following the footsteps of its smartphone and TWS earbuds. The visual confirms that the cable will sport transparent lids on both ends, veering away from the plastic coating traditionally found on similar cables. The ports also carry the 'Nothing' brand logo. However, the cable itself seems to be fashioned out of materials akin to those in standard cables, and it appears to come in a clean white color option.

What remains unclear is whether the Nothing USB Type-C cable will be restricted to the Phone (2) or if it will be compatible with other devices. Furthermore, it's still under wraps whether this accessory will be sold separately or bundled with the phone.
Diving deeper into the specifics of the Nothing Phone (2), it's known that the device will run on a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and will have a 4,700mAh battery unit. The phone's transparent design will be complemented by a redesigned Glyph interface, featuring numerous small strips surrounding the charging coil. The device will support RAW HDR format and 4K 60 fps video recording capabilities. Despite these impressive upgrades, the smartphone's price tag is confirmed to not see a substantial hike. Finally, the Phone (2) is expected to be manufactured in India.
