Motorola's new foldable smartphone model, the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra, has not yet been officially introduced in Europe. However, the device has already been seen in billboard advertisements, which has caused surprise.
The forthcoming release of the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is creating waves in the tech industry, with its global launch set for June 1. There is little left to the imagination as recent leaks have divulged nearly every specification of this hotly anticipated device. Numerous renders have unveiled the device's design and it's no longer a clandestine affair. Adding to the buzz, Lenovo's Motorola has officially teased the Razr 40 Ultra through a billboard advertisement, prominently displayed in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The aforementioned billboard serves as a canvas, revealing the striking appearance of the red variant of the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra. The smartphone's sizable 3.6-inch cover display catches the eye, characterized by dual camera cutouts. Despite providing a tantalizing visual, the advertisement remains silent about the device's specifications.

Nestled alongside the Ultra model, Motorola plans to release the more economical Razr 40. Equipped with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, 12 GB of RAM, the Android 13 OS, and 33W fast charging, its market availability remains a mystery at this stage.
Speculation surrounding the Razr 40 Ultra's features suggests a device designed to impress. It's expected to boast a 6.9-inch foldable P-OLED display, delivering Full HD+ resolution along with a super smooth 165Hz refresh rate. Similar to its cover screen, it's likely to support the same refresh rate. Powering this device is anticipated to be a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor, accompanied by up to 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
With regards to power, the Razr 40 Ultra is likely to sport a 3,800mAh battery, paired with 33W fast charging. For shutterbugs, it's expected to house a 32-megapixel front camera and a dual-camera system on the rear, comprising a 12-megapixel main and 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens. It's also believed to feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for enhanced security.
The Ultra variant is predicted to come in three attractive hues, namely Viva Magenta (featured in the billboard), Infinity Black, and Glacier Blue. Pricing is yet to be confirmed, but it's anticipated to retail between 1169 and 1199 euros in Europe.
