Motorola is preparing to introduce its Razr 40 series to the Indian market. The company, owned by Lenovo, plans to launch the Razr 40 Ultra and Razr 40 in the first week of July. These devices, which have already found their place in global markets earlier this month, will be introduced to Indian consumers with identical specifications.

Slated for July 3, the much-anticipated launch of the Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra marks Motorola's continued investment in India. Upon release, these foldable smartphones will be accessible through Motorola's official website, Amazon, Reliance Digital, and selected retail stores nationwide. Additionally, Amazon has added a microsite dedicated to these upcoming devices, fully revealing their specifications to potential buyers.

The Motorola Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra boast a clamshell foldable design, offering a unique approach to smartphone interaction. Among the two, the Ultra model stands as the premium offering, presenting a 6.9-inch internal screen with a 165Hz refresh rate. A 32MP front camera is common to both devices. Notably, the Razr 40 Ultra sports a large 3.6-inch OLED secondary display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a striking difference compared to the standard variant's smaller 1.5-inch secondary screen. The camera department also differs, with the Ultra variant featuring a 12MP main sensor, and the standard variant leading with a 64MP primary lens.

Beneath the hood, the Razr 40 Ultra operates on a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, whereas the Razr 40 is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. Both devices offer 33W fast charging and wireless charging capabilities. A 3,800mAh battery fuels the Ultra model, while a more robust 4,200mAh cell powers the standard variant.
