The launch of Red Magic 9 and 9 Pro seems imminent
Red Magic, one of the most prominent smartphone brands in the gaming world, is nearing the launch of models 9 and 9 Pro.
Nubia appears to be diligently shaping its upcoming generation of the Red Magic smartphones, specifically with focus on the Red Magic 9 and Red Magic 9 Pro models. Recent sightings on the Wi-Fi Alliance certification platform suggest that these devices are edging closer to an official launch. The disclosure provided insight, confirming that the Red Magic 9 will be identified with the model number NX721J, while its sibling, the Red Magic 9 Pro, will bear the model number NX769J. Moreover, it is anticipated that both high-end gaming devices will operate on the Android 13 OS right from the outset.

Although finer details concerning the duo remain somewhat elusive, the Wi-Fi Alliance certification does affirm their support for 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies. Another development worth noting is that one model from the Red Magic 9 series recently made an appearance on GeekBench, revealing several of its pivotal specifications. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and is paired with up to 12GB of RAM, pointing to robust performance capabilities.
As these handsets are flagbearers of a flagship gaming handset lineup, it's logical to expect them to boast top-tier specifications. Additionally, these models are set to succeed the Red Magic 8 series as well as the Red Magic 8S lineup, which were introduced earlier this year in select markets. Thus, it's reasonable to anticipate that they will be engineering marvels, poised to further solidify Nubia’s standing in the competitive gaming smartphone market.
