OnePlus, a significant name in the smartphone world, plans to officially release its new device in the near future.
The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro has recently achieved 3C certification in China and has been listed on Geekbench, revealing it will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The company has started promoting the device, giving insights into its launch schedule and some of its key features.
In a Weibo post, OnePlus has stated that the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is set to launch in August 2023. The brand also confirmed that this will be the first smartphone globally to be outfitted with the Tiangong cooling system. This cooling system is described as the industry's most potent VC, and it's said to be at least two generations ahead of its competitors.
The Tiangong cooling system boasts a VC area of 9140mm², which is considered the largest in the industry. It introduces an integrated dual-circulation heat dissipation system and Laval air channels, a first of its kind. The system also employs aerospace-grade heat dissipation materials, including diamond thermally conductive gel and superconducting thermal graphite.

This innovative cooling system will allow the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro to perform at unprecedented levels, enabling it to manage even the most demanding tasks like gaming and video editing.
The expected specifications of the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro include a 6.7-inch OLED display with a high-quality 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and accompanied by 24 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
Battery-wise, the device is anticipated to have a 5,500mAh capacity with 150W charging support. For photography and videography, the device is expected to feature a 32-megapixel front camera and a versatile triple camera setup on the back. This setup includes a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 32-megapixel telephoto lens.
