Gossip has it that the iQOO handset, known by its model number I2217, was previously suspected to be launched under the moniker iQOO Neo 7T 5G. However, the latest speculations indicate that the I2217 could very well be the much-awaited Neo 7 Pro. Some of the salient features of this model were revealed when the I2217 showed up on Geekbench 6, a popular benchmarking platform.
The alleged iQOO Neo 7 Pro has surfaced on Geekbench 6, boasting the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. The SoC's specific nomenclature isn't explicitly listed; nonetheless, the details concerning its CPU and GPU that have surfaced imply that it employs the aforementioned chipset.

Over the recent months, iQOO has launched two new smartphones in China – the iQOO Neo 8 and iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition. Both these devices are equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, leading to conjectures that the Neo 7 Pro could be a refurbished version of either of these models. The release of this device is expected to be announced in India by the end of June.
Unofficial sources claim that the iQOO Neo 7 Pro intended for the Indian market will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, options of 8 GB or 12 GB RAM, a robust 5,000mAh battery supporting 120W charging, and a storage capacity of 256 GB.
