In a previous disclosure, Samsung reportedly directed its employees to stop using generative AI tools like Bard and ChatGPT, citing security concerns. Concurrently, Samsung was reported to be collaborating with Naver Corporation to develop AI chips and tools. As part of the partnership, Samsung will provide Naver with semiconductor data to develop generative AI, which will then be enhanced further by Samsung.

This collaboration is expected to yield an in-house AI tool for Samsung, aimed at improving productivity and mitigating the risk of potential leaks of sensitive business information that could arise from the use of platforms developed by other companies. Upon completion, the AI tool will be available in Korean and employed by Samsung's Device Solution (DS) division. The AI tool, which is yet to be formally announced by Samsung and Naver, is anticipated to launch in October.

Moreover, it has been reported that Samsung is considering integrating ChatGPT within its browser. The potential integration of ChatGPT in the Samsung browser is presently in the experimental stage, with no additional information available regarding how this integration will benefit users.
