The front and back design of Honor X9b have been revealed
The X9b model, developed by Chinese tech company Honor, revealed itself with significant leaks.
Honor, the well-recognized tech company, is on the brink of launching the Honor X9b, a mid-range smartphone. Recent developments suggest that the company has already teased the device's design via its official microsite on Honor Malaysia. This teaser showcases a device with an orange-colored leather back and an intriguing round-shaped camera module. The module holds two camera sensors along with an LED flash. Complementing its rear design, the front flaunts a curved-edge OLED display.
Delving deeper into its specifications, there's speculation that the X9b might be a global version of the Honor X50, which was introduced in China in July. This assertion gains weight from the fact that the X9b was recently detected on Geekbench with the same chipset, RAM, and Android version as the X50. For a more detailed perspective, the Honor X50 boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that presents a resolution of 1220 x 2652 pixels, adopting a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

It also features an in-screen fingerprint scanner. Internally, it's powered by the SDG61 SoC, Magic OS 7.1 based on Android 13, and offers up to 16 GB of RAM and a substantial 512 GB of storage. The battery capacity stands at an impressive 5,800mAh, supported by 35W wired charging and a 6W reverse charging feature. Photography enthusiasts would appreciate its 108-megapixel primary camera, supplemented by a 2-megapixel macro lens, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
While the primary buzz is around its release in Malaysia, there are indications that the X9b might make its way to other markets such as Singapore and the UAE. Additionally, Honor plans to unveil another device in India before the year concludes. However, it remains uncertain if the X9b will be this anticipated release, especially since the Honor 90 was previously launched there this year.
