Nubia, looking to consolidate its standing in both the smartphone and tablet markets, appears to have been notably generous in equipping its gaming tablet.
Nubia is set to reveal its inaugural Red Magic-branded gaming tablet along with the Red Magic 8S Pro in China on July 5th. Recently, the company shared a handful of teasers that confirmed some specifications for the gaming tablet. Let's take a closer look at the newly confirmed details.
The gaming tablet from Red Magic is expected to boast a custom display provided by the China-based BOE display manufacturer. The tablet will reportedly feature a 12.1-inch display, a 2.5K ultra-clear screen, a high-refresh rate of 144Hz, an aspect ratio of 16:10, a peak brightness of 600 nits, and a 10-bit color depth.
This gaming tablet from Red Magic is designed to bridge the gap between host streaming and cloud gaming. It will support various peripherals, such as keyboards, mice, and controllers, thanks to the integrated game X-gravity platform. This functionality allows users to enjoy both AAA games and mobile games on a larger screen, delivering a holistic esports experience. With the Red Devils game space, including its array of game plug-ins, multiple game modes, and rapid operation, users can fully immerse themselves in an intense esports environment.

Another standout feature of the Red Magic gaming tablet is its reliable performance, even during demanding gaming sessions. Promising an average frame rate of 59.8 frames over a 60-minute high-intensity gaming period, the tablet ensures smooth and high-quality gameplay.
The gaming tablet from Red Magic has been confirmed to incorporate the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Impressively, the device achieved a notable AnTuTu score of 1,371,362, which further cements its position as a formidable contender in the gaming arena. The brand also recently announced that the tablet would have a 10,000mAh battery with 80W charging support. Leaked information suggests that the tablet will also feature a 5G version and come with 12 GB of RAM. It seems that the Red Magic gaming tablet might be a modified version of the ZTE Axon Pad 5G tablet, introduced earlier this year in China.
