Features of the A2 5G model, developed by Chinese tech company Oppo, have been revealed.
The upcoming Oppo A2 5G is making waves, especially after the company's recent unveiling of the A2m model. Fresh details have emerged concerning the A2 5G's design, price point, and technical specifications.
It recently came to light that the Oppo A2 5G was listed on China Telecom's online database under the model number PJB110. The listing showcased official renders, giving insights into the smartphone's aesthetics. Its design includes a centrally aligned punch hole cutout on the front for the selfie camera, and both the power button and volume rockers can be found on its right side. Moreover, the display will boast a Full HD+ resolution.
Delving deeper into the specifications, the Oppo A2 5G boasts a slender form, measuring 7.9mm in thickness and weighing in at 193 grams. Internally, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC (formerly known as Dimensity 700). This processor will be coupled with a hefty 12GB of RAM and options for either 256GB or 512GB of onboard storage. In terms of camera capabilities, the rear of the device features a 50-megapixel main camera supported by a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The front, on the other hand, will house an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies. Among its other standout features are an impressive 5,000mAh battery and a conventional 3.5mm headphone jack.
As for pricing, the base model of the Oppo A2 5G is expected to retail at 1,999 Yuan (approximately 273 US Dollars). The variant with 512GB of storage might be priced at 2,199 Yuan (close to 300 US Dollars). Potential buyers can look forward to an array of color choices, including Ice Crystal Purple, Clear Wave Green, and Quiet Sea Black. While the official release date remains uncertain, it is anticipated that the announcement will be made shortly.
