The eagerly anticipated POCO M6 Pro 5G is now available on shelves
POCO, a sub-brand of the Chinese tech giant Xiaomi, released its new smartphone model for sale.
POCO has unveiled the latest addition to their M-series smartphones in India - the POCO M6 Pro 5G. This release comes as the successor to the previously launched M4 Pro 5G, interestingly skipping the M5 Pro variant. What's noteworthy is that this new model mirrors the specifications of the Redmi Note 12R available in China.
The POCO M6 Pro 5G boasts a 6.79-inch center-aligned punch-hole display with an FHD+ resolution. It promises clarity and vibrancy with a peak brightness of 550 nits and a smooth user experience thanks to its 90Hz refresh rate. Aesthetically, the phone sports a dual-tone back panel, accentuated by an elongated Black camera module. Moreover, it conveniently incorporates the fingerprint scanner within the power button.
Camera capabilities of the POCO M6 Pro 5G include a 50MP primary lens complemented by a 2MP secondary sensor, and for the selfie enthusiasts, there's an 8MP front-facing camera.

In terms of performance, this model is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, leveraging a 4nm process. It offers up to 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, enhanced with an additional virtual RAM technology of up to 6GB to ensure a seamless user experience. This smartphone houses a robust 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. Users can expect a smooth interface with the Android 13 OS pre-installed.
For connectivity, the POCO M6 Pro 5G covers a range of options, including WiFi 5, a 3.5mm headphone jack, IR Blaster, Bluetooth, and of course, 5G.
Those interested can choose between two elegant shades: Forest Green and Power Black. The 4GB + 64GB model comes with a price tag of Rs 10,999, while the 6GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 12,999.
