Vivo's much-anticipated flagship, the Vivo X100 series, is set to debut later this month. The allure around this series heightened when Vivo’s product manager, Han Boxiao, unveiled the design of the Vivo X100 Pro. This model showcases a unique blue ripple glass back, with its camera module echoing celestial imagery. Resembling a sun, moon, and stars set against a starry sky, the design has drawn considerable praise, with many heralding it as the most visually stunning flagship smartphone this year.

The X100 Pro brings several advancements, particularly in its camera technology. This phone's camera setup is enhanced with a T* lens coating, boasting Zeiss branding. Notably, it houses a low-light submersible telephoto macro lens. Camera enthusiasts can expect a 12-megapixel IMX663 ultra-wide-angle lens and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens supplied by OmniVision. The device isn’t just camera-focused; it's also anticipated to have a hefty 5400mAh battery, compatible with both 100W wired and 50W wireless charging capabilities.

Vivo's color selection for this series, based on past leaks, includes three distinct choices: orange, white, and blue. While the white and blue variants have a glass back, the orange variant will introduce faux leather. There's also mention of a black version with a leather back. The standard X100 has already made waves due to its impressive AnTuTu benchmark results, powered by the Dimensity 9300 processor, complemented by 16GB LPDDR5T RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. It is poised to deliver a smooth user experience with a 120Hz refresh rate display and is armed with a new Vario-APO-Sonnar lens to enhance telephoto functions.

Contrasting some information that has surfaced, the X100 Pro was identified on GeekBench, revealing it houses a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset along with 12GB of RAM, underscoring its flagship designation. Vivo has commenced the pre-order phase for the X100 series. The model priced at 3999 yuan ($546) for the 12GB+256GB variant hints at its competitive market positioning. With the launch date nearing, the smartphone community is keenly waiting for November 17th, when the series will officially be introduced in China.
