The design of Redmi K60 Ultra emerges
After appearing in leaks for a long time, Redmi K60 Ultra now captures attention with a visual release.
Xiaomi is set to host an event on August 14, where the spotlight will be on the unveiling of the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 smartphone. But that's not all; the brand is also set to introduce the Redmi K60 Ultra, as indicated by a recent teaser on Weibo.
The teaser has given away quite a bit about the Redmi K60 Ultra. For starters, images depict the phone with a flat frame, featuring gently rounded edges, an ergonomic design choice that ensures a comfortable grip. The rear design showcases a square camera module housing three lenses – two large ones and a smaller one to the side.

As for its display, the Redmi K60 Ultra promises a 144Hz 1.5K resolution, capable of reaching an impressive peak brightness of 2600 nits. Furthermore, it uses 2880Hz ultra-high Frequency PWM dimming. On the storage and memory front, another teaser has hinted at a high-end configuration, offering up to 24 GB of LDDR5x RAM and a massive 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. And for those concerned about durability, it's designed with IP68 water resistance, meaning it can stay submerged in water up to 1.5 meters deep for around 30 minutes.
The phone's performance seems set to impress as well, with indications pointing to it being powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor, which has been rumored to have scored over 1.77 million points on AnTuTu.
