Tecno Phantom V2 Fold makes its appearance
The world of smart phones, with its new trend of foldable smartphones, keeps evolving day by day.
Tecno is reportedly developing a successor to its Phantom V Fold, the brand's inaugural foldable smartphone that launched earlier this year. The new device, dubbed the Phantom V2 Fold, came into the spotlight following its appearance in an IMEI database entry.
The IMEI listing not only revealed the name of the foldable, Phantom V2 Fold, but also its model number, AE10. However, the specifics regarding the Phantom V2 Fold's features and specifications remain largely undisclosed at this time.
To gauge what the Phantom V2 Fold might offer, it's useful to revisit the original Phantom V Fold. This model featured a 7.85-inch AMOLED LPTO foldable display with a 2K+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, offering a unique 8:7 aspect ratio. When unfolded, it boasted a 6.42-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution, maintaining the 120Hz refresh rate and adopting a 21:9 aspect ratio. The device operated on Android 13 OS, enhanced by the HiOS 13 Fold UI.
