Sony Xperia 1 V Live images appeared: Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and more
Sony's new device Sony Xpreria 1 V showed up online with live images. Here are all the details.
As usual before the actual launch we have live images of the expected devices, in that case it was Sony Xperia 1 V. The Xperia 1 V's camera island clearly shows that it does not have the ToF camera or the RGB IR sensor that were on the model before it. The Xperia 1 V has three cameras, an LED flash, a microphone, and ZEISS branding on the slightly protruding camera island.

A periscope zoom lens is the third lens in the camera setup. An NFC logo can be seen on the right side of the camera module, indicating that the leaked image is from the global version of the Xperia 1 V. According to a previous report, the "Optical Telephoto Zoom Module" from LG Innotek may be included with the device, offering up to 9x zoom.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset will power the flagship Sony Xperia 1 V. It is rumored that the SD8G2 chip-powered phone will be the thinnest. At the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 technology trade show smartphone manufacturers are anticipated to introduce new phones. Whether the Xperia 1 V will be available at MWC 2023 is currently unknown. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1-powered Xperia 1 IV, which made its debut in May 2022, will be replaced by the Xperia 1 V.
