Significant leaks and details about the iPhone 15 series continue to emerge
All smartphone users are eagerly awaiting Apple's iPhone 15 series. So when exactly will this phone be introduced?
Apple's anticipated Fall event is around the corner, usually held in September, marking the introduction of its latest innovations, including iPhones, Apple Watch Series, iPad Pros, and other significant announcements. A recent revelation suggests a probable event date. Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, in one of his newsletters, provided insights regarding the iPhone 15's launch and sale timelines.
According to Gurman, Apple plans to unveil the iPhone 15 on September 13. This aligns with earlier speculations. Yet, a launch on September 12 is also plausible, considering Apple's custom of rolling out products on the month's second Tuesday.
Significant leaks and details about the iPhone 15 series continue to emerge
It's expected that the iPhone 15 will hit the market on September 22. With this timeline, Apple would have approximately a week in the fiscal fourth quarter, ending in September, to record its sales. Interestingly, Apple recently acknowledged a dip in the smartphone market, observing a slowdown in its U.S sales over recent quarters. This scenario poses challenges for the forthcoming iPhones.
The sales performance of the iPhone 15 series will be especially significant during the holiday season, spanning October to November. Factors such as U.S-China trade disagreements, the impact of COVID-19, and supply chain challenges have affected the sales of the past three iPhone generations soon after their release. Given that the iPhone 15 is predicted to feature the most significant advancements since the iPhone 11, it's anticipated that this new generation could fare better in the market.
Despite these official announcements, the rumor mill surrounding the iPhone 15 series is churning, and we can only expect more speculations to arise as the launch date nears.
