Samsung's upcoming foldable smartphone looks fantastic!
Leaked Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 renders provide a preview of the upcoming foldable phone.
Leaked images of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 have surfaced online, revealing the smartphone's design and features. The images, which were obtained by OnLeaks and Smartprix, are based on CAD renders and offer a glimpse into what consumers can expect from Samsung's latest foldable device.
Let's delve into renders of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5
The design of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 appears to be more of an evolutionary change rather than a radical one when compared to its predecessor. Firstly, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 features a triple camera setup on the back with a raised camera bump, similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 4. However, in contrast to the previous model where the flash was located within the camera bump, it has been repositioned outside of the bump in the Galaxy Z Fold 5.
When unfolded, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 has dimensions of 154.9 x 129.9 x 6.3mm, while its folded dimensions are 154.9 x 67.1 x 13.5mm. The new model is notably thinner than its predecessor, which measured between 14.2mm and 15.8mm.
The reduced thickness may be due to the rumored tear-drop hinge design that Samsung was said to be developing, which eliminates the need for space between screens when the device is folded. This new hinge design may also help reduce the visible crease that was present in the display of the previous model when unfolded.
Lastly, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 has the same display sizes as its predecessor, with a 6.2-inch outer screen and a 7.6-inch inner screen. The reduced dimensions of the device could be attributed to the smaller bezels on the new phone.
