Samsung's foldable smartphone models make headlines once more
The eagerly awaited foldable smartphone models from South Korean tech giant Samsung, once again occupy the agenda of rumor accounts.
On the upcoming Wednesday, July 26, Samsung is set to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5 foldable phones across numerous markets, including India. Prior to the launch, Ishan Agarwal, a reliable tipster, has disclosed details about the storage variants, color options, and the sales time frame for these next-generation foldable phones in the Indian market.
The Galaxy Z Fold 5 will be offered in three colors: Phantom Black, Cream, and Icy Blue. Furthermore, consumers will have three storage options to choose from: 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB. On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will be available in color variants such as Graphite, Cream, Lavender, and Mint, with storage choices of 128 GB and 256 GB.

According to the leak, the Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 will also come in Samsung-exclusive shades. These exclusive colors will only be available via Samsung’s online store. As per Agarwal, Samsung hasn't yet finalized the sales or delivery dates for its new foldables, but they're projected to become available between August 12 and August 18, with August 22 being the latest possible date.
In India, the forthcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, where these devices will be revealed, will be live-streamed on Samsung India’s YouTube channel at 4:30 pm local time. Prospective buyers can pre-reserve these foldables by paying Rs 2,000 through various platforms including Amazon, Flipkart, and Samsung India’s website.
Samsung has also declared that customers who pre-reserve these devices will be eligible for benefits worth Rs 5,000 upon their purchase. This pre-reservation offer seems to extend to individuals considering the purchase of the Galaxy Tab S9 series or the Galaxy Watch 6 as well.
