Samsung is gearing up to introduce its latest entry-level smartphones, the Galaxy A05 and Galaxy A05s. The Galaxy A05 is set to succeed the Galaxy A04 and is rumored to come with notable enhancements in terms of chipset and camera setup.

Recent listings from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) have shed some light on the specifications of the Galaxy A05s. The smartphone is expected to support 4G LTE and feature WiFi capabilities for both 2.4 and 5GHz bands, as well as Bluetooth 5.3. Notably, the Galaxy A05 was similarly recognized by the FCC, indicating it might support triple WiFi bands, suggesting that the Galaxy A05s could be positioned as a lite version of the Galaxy A05. Additionally, tests have shown that the Galaxy A05s may house a 4000 mAh SLC-51 battery and be paired with a TA-800 25W fast charger.

The design sketches have revealed some elements of its aesthetics. The device might boast a circular camera module at the back, with Samsung's logo placed at the bottom center. The design also hints at pronounced rounded corners, although other details remain a mystery.

Earlier leaks offer some insights into the device's inner workings. The Galaxy A05s may come equipped with a Helio G85 chipset paired with 4GB RAM and is likely to run on Android 13, accompanied by several other enhancements. For context, the Galaxy A04 featured a 6.5-inch PLS LCD display, Helio P35 SoC, 8GB RAM, and a storage capacity of 128GB. With the introduction of a new chipset in the Galaxy A05s, there's a significant potential for improved performance and efficiency.
