Samsung to stop the updates for this popular model!
The Galaxy Fold launched with Android 9 Pie out of the box in 2019 with big expectations. However, the South Korean technology giant has released a number of updates since then, and the company's first foldable device now runs the Android 12 operating system, but it looks like this will be the end of the road given that Samsung will not provide a significant OS update for the Galaxy Fold. We can understand that the One UI 5.0 update based on Android 13 OS will not be installed on the device. The Galaxy Fold will no longer be eligible for major upgrades as it has completed its three-year update cycle. Aside from these news, the related phone could still receive some software updates. Security updates and patches will continue for at least a year.
