Samsung to launch an affordable 5G Galaxy Phone

South Korean tech giant has rolled up its sleeves to offer budget friendly devices. Here are all the details.

India is an important market when it comes to smartphones and numerous businesses are attempting to enter the 5G smartphone market. South Korean tech giant Samsung in that sense made a move to dominate Indian market. The company plans to introduce a budget friendly 5G device.

Samsung dominated the 5G smartphone market in 2022. Samsung's Galaxy A series of smartphones have also been making incredible progress at the same time. In a recent statement, the company said that it wants to make 5G technology more accessible across India, but it won't do so at the expense of its 4G smartphone market.

According to Aditya Babbar, Samsung's Head of Product & Marketing in India, the Galaxy A series will be the most popular smartphone model in India in 2022, with over 10 million units sold nationwide. Since Xiaomi had a strong hold on the smartphone market prior to that, it is commendable that Samsung overtook Xiaomi to become the country's leading smartphone manufacturer by the end of 2022.

It's also interesting that the Galaxy F series, which was only available in India, and the Galaxy M series were previously released by the South Korean electronics manufacturer.
