For the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra with firmware version G980FXXUFHWA1 ('X' varies by model), One UI 5.1 is being tested internally. With the update it is anticipated that the 2020 Samsung flagships and other eligible smartphones will be able to customize the lock screen and other UI elements. One UI 5.1 could be released by Samsung on February 1, when the Galaxy S23 series is expected to be unveiled.

With the new update Samsung's dynamic theming engine has been enhanced with expanded color support, just like Android 13 on Google Pixel phones. Based on the wallpaper that has been used, it offers up to 16 pre-set color schemes. Alternately, you can pick from 12 standard color options, including four two-tone choices.
