The Galaxy Z Fold 4 was released by Samsung in August with support for the S Pen, but unlike the Galaxy S22 Ultra, it did not include an S Pen slot. Recent reports claim that feature will change very soon. According to recent reports Samsung has been planning to add S Pen slot for its new foldable devices. Samsung confirmed in a meeting with its suppliers last month that the Galaxy Z Fold series' lack of a dedicated stylus slot is one of the issues that must be resolved to increase the lineup's popularity.

Samsung, which has a serious place in the foldable industry now have some other exciting news for future plans. The Korean conglomerate had initially intended to include an S Pen slot and flagship cameras on the foldable smartphone, but due to weight and thickness restrictions, it was unable to do so. In addition to making its foldables lighter, thinner, and more durable, Samsung intends to improve on both of these fronts in order to increase the popularity of the Fold lineup.
The company also anticipates that Apple will enter the foldable market in 2024, but not with smartphones but rather with laptops and tablets, therefore South Korean tech giant is still confident about its brand as of yet.
