Samsung's commitment to innovating the smartphone realm is evident in its ever-expanding foldable phone lineup. The Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 are the most recent additions, and they've garnered widespread appreciation. But, Samsung's ambitions extend far beyond just these models.

Rumors suggest Samsung's plans include a more cost-effective foldable device. Though specifics about this pocket-friendly variant remain under wraps, inside sources indicate that a Thom Browne Edition of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is under development. This edition, inspired by the high-end fashion designer Thom Browne, is expected to feature a distinctive color scheme and design elements synonymous with Browne’s trademark style. Previous collaborations between Samsung and Thom Browne, like the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 2, have resonated well with users.

Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, paired with 12GB RAM. Storage options range from 256GB to a whopping 1TB, utilizing UFS 4.0 technology. Camera capabilities include a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens, a 10MP under-display front shooter, and a 4MP cover camera. The device is fueled by a 4400mAh battery, supporting 25W wired and 15W wireless charging. Out of the box, it runs Android 13. Prices start at $1,800 for the 256GB variant and reach up to $2,000 for the 1TB option.
