South Korean tech giant just unveiled the Samsung Galaxy S23 series. Three different smartphones are included in the series: the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. A modified Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset is included in the smartphone. Even though the brand just introduced their new products some rumors regarding the next series started to show up.
It is marketed as "Snapdragon 8 Gen2 for Galaxy" and, in comparison to the ordinary model, is said to have a more potent CPU and GPU. Recently, a rumor began to circulate online claiming the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 series would include a Snapdragon chipset that would allegedly be more potent than Apple's A16 Bionic.

A Weibo user account shared a screenshot of what appeared to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon Gen 3's Geekbench score. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 scored 1,930 points in the single-core test and 6,236 points in the multi-core test. Comparatively, the Apple A16 Bionic scored 1,870 in the single-core test and 5,380 in the multi-core test. As a result, on the multi-core front, the performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is 15% and 3% better, respectively.
