Samsung is gearing up to launch its latest smartphone series that is Galaxy S23. The flagship class of the series, Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has been spotted on Geekbench today. According to listing, Galaxy S23 Ultra's Europe variant will be powered by an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which is expected to offer higher performance than stock Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Europe variant could be equipped with an overclocked SD8 Gen 2 SoC
According to information on the Geekbench listing, the upcoming Galaxy S23 Ultra (whose model number is SM-S918B) achieved a 1,530 single-core tests score and a 4,779 multi-core tests score on an benchmark on the Geekbench 5 test. Obviously, Android 13 and 8GB of RAM was used in the tested model.
The critical point is that this Galaxy S23 Ultra variant belongs to European market and it has a overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which is concluded from the fact this chipset's high-performance Cortex-X3 base Kyro Prime core is running at 3.36GHz, instead of stock 3.2GHz.
It can be assumed that Europe variant of Galaxy S23 Ultra will have an overclock SD8 Gen 2 Soc. However it is not clear whether Samsung will implement this overclock as a base clock speed.
