Samsung Galaxy S23 received another significant update
The flagship smartphone series from South Korean tech giant Samsung, Galaxy S23, appeared before us with a vital update.
Samsung consistently introduces innovative features to their flagship smartphones, and the Galaxy S23's Camera and Gallery App's August update is no exception. With this update, several new tools and improvements are being rolled out to enhance the user experience.
The new update has improved the transition between the gallery and camera apps, ensuring a smoother experience for users. A significant addition is the Crop Zoom feature. By leveraging the phone's high-resolution sensor, this feature ensures that cropped images maintain the optical lens-level image quality. Additionally, for the Galaxy S23 Ultra model, a 2x zoom icon has been introduced in the video Super Steady mode. This can be activated by users through the Camera Assistant.

Updates also extend to the portrait video mode. The frame rate for effects like Big Circle, Color Point, and Glitch has been bumped up, moving from 24fps to 30fps. An AI-driven feature previously exclusive to the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5, which enhances the Zoom image quality, has now been integrated into the Galaxy S23 series. Several other optimizations have been made. These include improved blur for photos taken with the 50/200MP sensor, reduced file size for motion photos, enhanced motion blur, and tweaks to ensure natural face colors in selfies.
Rounding up the update is the enhancement of the camera's overall performance. This will allow users to seamlessly toggle between different modes, further refining the photographic experience.
