The tech giant has officially teased the imminent release of the device, highlighting its inclusion of the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G processor. The incorporation of this cutting-edge chipset is expected to provide users with enhanced performance, offering faster processing speeds and improved graphics rendering.

What to expect from Samsung Galaxy S21 FE: 'SD888 Edition'

The Galaxy S21 FE, equipped with the Snapdragon 888 processor, is expected to retain most of its original specifications. It is anticipated to feature a 6.4-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The camera setup may include a triple rear configuration with a 12MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera. For selfies, a 32MP front-facing camera is likely to be present.

Regarding battery life, the device could come with a 4500mAh battery, supporting 25W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. It is also expected to have an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and NFC support for contactless payments.

According to reports from offline Indian retailers, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G is expected to be priced at approximately Rs 49,999, which is about $609, representing a noticeable reduction from its original launch price of around Rs 54,999 or $670.
