Samsung is making strides in the competitive smartphone market with the anticipated release of its Galaxy M44 5G. A recent benchmark listing and its appearance on NRRA Korea suggest that the smartphone's debut might be just around the corner. The NRRA certification from Korea highlights that this device, featuring the model number SM-M446K, supports 5G connectivity and will be manufactured in both Vietnam and Korea. Despite the listing, specific details about the device's features remain under wraps.
The Galaxy M44 5G, which is set to release in Korea, is speculated to be the successor to the Galaxy M34 5G that was recently launched in India. The exact release date remains ambiguous, but there is anticipation of an earlier than expected launch.

Details gleaned from an appearance on Geekbench reveal that the device, codenamed "Lahaina," will boast 6GB RAM paired with the powerful Snapdragon 888 SoC. This chipset will provide a maximum clock speed of 2.84GHz, encompassing an Octa-Core CPU and the Adreno 660 GPU. Its CPU configuration is likely to include 4 cores operating at 1.8GHz, 3 cores at 2.42GHz, and a single core at 2.84GHz. Additionally, the device will operate on the Android 13 OS.
Speculations suggest the Galaxy M44 5G will see a release in regions including Korea and India, among others. In terms of its specifications, it's expected to surpass its predecessor, the Galaxy M34 5G. The M34 came with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, storage configurations of 6GB +128GB and 8GB + 128GB, a 6000 mAh battery supporting 25W fast charging, a triple-rear camera module, and the Exynos 1280 SoC.
