Samsung Galaxy A34: Leaked specs hint at imminent launch
A recent leak has updated the specifications for the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G.
With the release of the Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra behind them, Samsung is now turning its attention to more budget-friendly devices. Reports suggest that the company will be unveiling the Galaxy A34 5G and the Galaxy A54 5G in the near future. Before the official launch, details about the specifications of these two phones have been leaked.

The Galaxy A34 is expected to take the place of the Galaxy A33 and will offer superior features compared to its predecessor. This device will sit below the Galaxy A54, which is a higher-end model.
According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the Galaxy A34 will feature a 6.6-inch sAMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a high refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It has been previously suggested that the phone will have a waterdrop notch design on the front and may also come equipped with an under-display fingerprint sensor.
Brar claims that the Galaxy A34 will be powered by the Dimensity 900 SoC. However, earlier reports indicate that the phone may come with the Dimensity 1080 in certain regions, while the majority of regions will have the Exynos 1280 SoC. It is said that the Dimensity 900 chip on the Galaxy A34 will be combined with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.
The Galaxy A34 may have a triple-camera setup consisting of a 48-megapixel main sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 5-megapixel macro camera. The front-facing camera is rumored to be a 13-megapixel shooter for taking selfies.
Additionally, the phone is said to come with Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and an IP67 rating for protection against dust and water. The device is expected to be powered by a 5,000mAh battery and support fast charging of up to 25W. Following this, source states that Samsung Galaxy A34 will be introduced soon.

It's anticipated that the Galaxy A34 will have a slightly higher price point than last year's model. As TechtUSA reported earlier, the starting price of the Galaxy A34 in Europe is estimated to be €410 ($439), while consumers in India and other regions may expect a more affordable price.
