Samsung Galaxy A14 5G arrives with a more affordable price and better specifications

Samsung is preparing to launch Galaxy S23 series worldwide soon. At the same time, the South Korea based smartphone maker rolls out budget smartphones to comply with demand from entry-level market. After dozens of leaks, Samsung has finally launched Galaxy A14 5G for the budget customers. Let's see all the details of the smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy A14 5G specifications

Samsung Galaxy A14 5G features a 6.6 inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution with 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone offers three cameras on the rear in addition to single selfie lens placed in water drop notch.

The chipset to power Galaxy A14 5G remains a mystery yet. Samsung did not state chipset details of the smartphone, however, previous leaks unveiled that it will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 in US market while powered by Exynos 1330 in EU market. 

Galaxy A14 5G has 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. At the same time, there is microSD card support, which allows for increased storage. Apart from that, it is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 15W support.

While there is a 13 Megapixel selfie camera positioned in the drop notch on the front, there is a triple camera setup consisting of a 50 Megapixel main and 2 Megapixel macro and 2 Megapixel depth sensor on the back. As to security, smartphone offers a fingerprint scanner placed on the right side. 

Samsung Galaxy A14 5G price and availability

The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G will be priced at $199 in the US and the sales will begin on January 12. In addition, it will hit European markets in April with €229.

It is only available in black color option in the US, while it will be available for purchase in black, silver, dark red and light green in other markets.
