Following the recent launch of the Samsung M34 5G smartphone in India, the company appears to be working on a new budget-friendly device known as the Galaxy A05. As suggested by its name, the Galaxy A05 belongs to Samsung's upcoming generation of entry-level smartphones. The Wi-Fi Alliance website has confirmed the existence of the Galaxy A05 with its model number SM-A055F-DS and certification.
The certification verifies that the device will indeed be called the Galaxy A05 and will operate on Android 13. It is also expected to support both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi bands. At present, no further details about the device have been disclosed.
However, Galaxy A05 is set to be released as the successor to the Galaxy A04, which was introduced by Samsung in the previous year. The Galaxy A04 boasts a 6.5-inch PLS LCD screen with an HD+ resolution, a regular 60Hz refresh rate, and a pixel density of 270 PPI.
