Samsung ends software support for these popular models
South Korean tech giant Samsung will end software support for these popular models. Here is the list of the devices.
On Android smartphones and tablets, Samsung currently provides the longest software support across all price ranges. The company said it would support its devices for up to five years last year. Nonetheless, earlier models were restricted to 4 years. Official software support has now ended for a few of these phones and tablets.
Samsung has ended software support for the following devices
Galaxy A10
Galaxy A20
Galaxy A40
Galaxy Tab S5e
Galaxy Tab A 10.1
Galaxy Tab A with S Pen
Despite the suspension of their software support, these products will continue to function. They currently run Android 11, which is capable of running nearly all of the apps on the Google Play Store. Performance and battery life-related issues may be the only issues with these devices. The latter can be replaced, but the former cannot be fixed.
In addition, none of them are connected to 5G. So that could be another motivation to move up to a fresher telephone assuming you have inclusion for the most recent gen portable organizations in your city.
